We're a coach-led strength and conditioning gym two blocks off the OB pier. 38 classes a week, a 7,200 sq ft floor, and coaches who learn your name on day one.
Every program is coached, capped at 14 people, and scaled to where you are — not where Instagram says you should be.
Barbell-first strength cycles: squat, press, deadlift. Eight-week waves with your numbers tracked on the whiteboard and in our app.
45 minutes of intervals on rowers, sleds, ski ergs, and bikes. The hardest cardio in OB, scaled so nobody gets left on the floor.
Rotational power, shoulder durability, and breath work built for paddling out. Designed with the longboarders who train here every dawn patrol.
Heavy-bag rounds, footwork, and core — no sparring, all sweat. Wraps and gloves available at the front desk.
One-on-one with a dedicated coach. Rehab-smart programming, nutrition check-ins, and a plan that survives your real schedule.
Full access to the floor: platforms, racks, turf lane, and the recovery corner with sauna and cold plunge. Coach on the floor at all hours.
Book through the front desk or just show up — drop-ins welcome on every class with space.

Month-to-month, cancel anytime with 15 days notice. Every membership starts with a free week and a movement screen with a coach.
I'm Marcus Delgado, and I opened Tidepool in 2019 with two squat racks and a rower in my garage off Narragansett Ave. I'd spent eight years coaching collegiate rowers up north, moved to OB for the surf, and couldn't find a gym here that took coaching seriously without taking itself too seriously.
So we built one. The garage filled up in four months. The space on Voltaire came next — an old surfboard warehouse we gutted ourselves, which is why there's still resin on the back wall and we're keeping it there.
Today nine coaches run 38 classes a week for about 400 members: nurses coming off night shift, lifeguards, retirees who deadlift, and half the dawn-patrol lineup at the pier. The standard is the same for everyone — show up, move well, get a little harder to kill every week.
— Marcus Delgado, Owner & Head Coach
I came in for the cold plunge and stayed for the coaching. Added 85 pounds to my deadlift in a year and my paddle-outs stopped wrecking my shoulders.
Danny · Ocean BeachThe 5:30am crew is a cult in the best way. Marcus knew my name, my knee history, and my coffee order by week two.
Priya · Point LomaI'm 61 and deadlifting more than I did at 30. They scale everything without ever making you feel like the old guy in the room.
Walt · Sunset CliffsNo sales pitch, no tour script. Call or walk in, we'll screen your movement, and you train free for seven days before you decide anything.
