I'm Dr. Alana Reyes, and I grew up right here in San Diego — lifeguarding at Crystal Pier in the summers and getting my own braces two neighborhoods over. After dental school at USC and six years in a high-volume corporate practice, I knew exactly what I didn't want: ten-minute appointments and treatment plans written by a spreadsheet.
So in 2016 I opened Saltwind Dental in Pacific Beach. We book longer appointments on purpose. We show you photos of your own teeth and explain your options in plain English. And if something can wait, we say so — your trust is worth more to us than a crown you didn't need.
